Really terrific review of "After the Hunt" by @kamrynsfilm at @therollingtape, that expresses a lot of what I felt a lot of folks miss about the complicated film in some critical ways. Great perspective!

Though not included in the #OscarsModel, the Gothams are always such a great introduction to the awards season slate ahead! For categories with an Oscars counterpart, ~28% of Gotham nominees ended up nominated at the Oscars last year. OBAA starts the season singularly in front!

Classic example of the absolutely hilarious gap between The #OscarsModel and general consensus at this time of year, before any awards. I read this and think "almost certainly," while the current #OscarsModel is like "OFC NOT, BECAUSE XIN ZHILEI IS UNBEATABLE FOR BEST ACTRESS"

Not only did The Iron Claw not receive any love from the Academy a couple years ago, but I was also re-gobsmacked that it only appeared in the #OscarsModel *ONCE* across our hundreds of tracked precursors: its nod in the Top 10 from NBR that year.
