I think Dandadan is just a really amazing show, so people are more willing to let it slide. I remember when SAO was coming out (a show that also uses SA on minors to prove the villain is evil a LOT) the sentiments were flipped lol.

And I’m saying that as someone who likes Dandadan. I’m unfortunately desensitized to the “anime bullshit” which also unfortunately— stuff like this. But regardless how you see it, you gotta be able to take a step back sometimes at the bigger picture and note… ya it’s a bit much.

Ok, I understand what’s being said, but I never really liked this defense. There are MANY ways to show someone is a “bad guy”. But in Dandadan it’s been a weirdly LARGE amount of sexual assault on minors. At times not even thematically lol. That’s why people look at it that way.
