We made our grand return, against all odds this evening. After weeks of hard work rehearsing. On Guitar is David Thompson, formerly of local lads Vindicter and on Drums is Lucas Hughes who plays bass for melodic powerhouses Odins Revenge.

After Graeme left in August, and Adam soon after with commitments to family and other gigging bands stepping down too a couple months ago time for Culloden was all but over. One last roll of the dice was made to try and build a new lineup, and by sheer luck it came together.

We're still on the hunt for a permanent new drummer of course but for now, it looks like our long hiatus maybe coming to an end very soon.

The rebuild is almost complete with the securing of two new guitarists who are working on learning current songs, getting to grips with the sound and seeing what they can add. We have a fantastic offer from a friend to dep on drums for now, so we'll be back to work very soon.

Not the news we wanted to share, but, it is what it is. The band will be rebuilt and will return again. In the meantime, some friends of ours will hopefully be filling in for now. Thanks for your time Adam! You were brilliant and all the best to you and your family.

Here's a couple of snaps from about 11-12 years ago in the early days of the band. Sometimes these times where we just dicked around so much is a miss. Organising an album, building a network of other bands, venues, promoters, keeping gig ready. It's all serious and hard work!

Things don't always go to plan. While waiting for confirmation on the recording sessions for the album, the final members are being sought to build a brand new live band.

Some brilliant live shots from our last gig with Graeme at Downcast Studios in Gateshead. What they've done with the place is amazing, we've been rehearsing here on and off for over ten years and for it now to have an outdoor stage for showcases for bands. Mega.
