🇨🇺 Cuban revolutionary Melba Hernández was born on this day in 1921. One of two women to take part in the attack on the Moncada Barracks, she went on to help found the 26th of July Movement, served as ambassador to Vietnam and Cambodia and as Secretary of OSPAAAL.
