When AI shuts off your advertisements for real estate because of "misinformation" the machines have already taken over and are trying to ruin our lives. Hmmm, what recent event might have encouraged Facebook to update its models that detect misinformation. .

If you're an AI company that, for instance, matches employers to candidates and I told you about the candidates I'm looking for in the sign-up process I'm not going to be impressed if I then have to tell a human about the candidates I'm looking for.

Just give me the free trial. Don't make me go through a "sign-up" process and then hit me with a Calendly embed. I don't want to talk to anyone, show me your product.

Reminder: Pen testing without getting proper clearances is just hacking. Stop it.

People are way better downtime detectors than machines. I don't know how many times I've had an operations manager or sales manager pop into my office to tell me something is down then the alerts go off, or it was "down" for 15 seconds and everything is already back to normal.

And I can run the tests until all the pieces are working as expected. This lets me iterate more quickly. I still don't think I can get on board with full TDD but I like tests a lot.

I've been writing a lot of code for webhooks that are called by things like texts or phone calls, so I've been writing lots of tests for the new functionality. So instead of making a call or sending a text and waiting for all that I run the tests.

Things MacOS does worse than every other OS:. Keyboard shortcuts, window management, file management (Finder is awful), being aware of other file systems, gestures (requires their hardware), customizability, and multi-monitor setups.

Unless you need aggregate audio devices, MacOS is the worst choice for an OS.
