What a beautiful bride @emilydport was, and still is 22 years later. That day has led to countless wonderful days in the interim. As sure as I am that I had no idea what to expect on 7/12/03, I’m equally sure that it’s been better than I could have ever hoped.

4th and Final round for this year’s Dport 🧨 Classic. Ben fires his second 69 of the trip. He was looking to go deep until bogeys on 16 and 17, but he bounced back with birdie on 18. 79 for the other guy. Ben was -2 for the trip. I need more shots and a new tee box.

I hit some good shots this morning, but Ben’s were better. Young gun’s 71 bests a gutsy 76 from old guy. Hard to beat a 7:30 am teetime and 3 hour round at a world class course. On to the beach!

Day 2 is all Ben’s as he fires a 69, including a bogey free 32 on the back 9.

When your wife and 3 kids are all Purples, this is the beach shade you end up with.

These 2 @PurplesGolf alumni had an outstanding State Am tournament this weekend in Lexington. Well played @cdogreber and @BenDport

Gritty playing by @BenDport in the third and final round of the State Am today. He fired a 69 (2nd lowest score of the day) to improve 21 spots and finish T-16. That finish is good enough to exempt him into 2026 State Am.

Another 74 for @BenDport on a TOUGH day 2 at the State Am. Well within the cut line so I have at least 1 more caddie round in my career.

First round of KY State Amateur championship in Lexington today. Old man was on the bag for @BenDport round of 74. Lexington Country Club is in immaculate condition. Looking forward to another chance to caddy tomorrow.

Can you imagine pitching this show to network executives in 2025:. "Ok, so there's this dude, with no particular talents or expertise, but he's got this car connected to Siri & an LED strip and he drives around solving crimes and helping people that are in some sort of trouble"
