The Galiuro Mountains are home to one of the most biodiverse areas in the southwest - yes, another Sky Island north of Tucson (threatened by #mining). Caught on #trailcam: a very lean #mountainlion, #javelina family, #coatimundi, and black #vulture.

Today, I give thanks that this beautiful Arizona Sky Island still stands - the Galiuros - despite @BLMAZ's every move to allow foreign mining to turn it into a 28-square MILES of open pit & block-cave copper mines. It's is still OUR public land, and we will continue to fight.
