Autonomous driving isn’t a "someday" dream but it’s a "data" problem. Waymo, Tesla, Cruise - even with all their LiDARs, cameras & millions in funding - still struggle with safety. Why?. Because they don’t have real-world, decentralized, 360° street-level data at scale.
Autonomous driving simply isn't there yet 🥲. Waymo's fleet of vehicles is proof that, despite having operational cars on the road and relying on sensor fusion (cameras, LiDAR, etc.), accidents can still happen 😢. More real-world 360° data = safer autonomous vehicles 🚗.
