The Usher-Crow guides the souls of successful initiates to Solomon’s House. It is so called, both because it ushers the souls of seekers and in reference to the family in Edgar Allen Poe’s gothic story The Fall of the House of Usher.

The name Solomon’s House is taken from the 1726 book New Atlantis by Sir Francis Bacon, a founder of modern science. It is presented as a utopian college devoted to scientific discovery, setting the standard for Enlightenment-era academies and ultimately modern universities.

He resides in Heaven within a chapel known as Solomon’s House, in which he guards a vast library of books, scrolls, and tablets that contain all the knowledge of Multiverse. It is a house of many rooms – a reference to Christ’s description of Heaven in the biblical verse John

Owned by @batsoupyum, Jophiel is known as the Angel of Knowledge. With black wings and a companion crow, he projects a moody, gothic air, though he extends a warm welcome to those seekers whose discipline and devotion lead them to his door.

Cranes have been considered magical or sacred birds in many cultures throughout history. In Japan they are seen as symbols of good fortune and longevity. The ancient Celts saw them as souls of the dead and the Greeks as messengers of the gods.

Chamuel resides far from Heaven on an obscure unnamed world. His shrine is in a wetland region called Serena Aestuarium, which is Latin for ‘serene estuary’, and his only neighbours are flocks of pink and white cranes.

He is also inspired by the practice of eremitism – the practice of being a spiritual hermit – which is common to many religions. The first Christian hermit was Paul of Thebes, who is said to have lived in a desert cave between the ages of 16 and 113 in the third and fourth

His philosophy is inspired by the principles of zazen, the main meditative practice of Zen Buddhism. This ties in with Trevor’s logo, the ensō, a hand-drawn circle that symbolises enlightenment, reflection, and oneness with all things.

Owned by @hardart__, Chamuel is known as the Archangel of Stillness. He remains separate from his brother angels, seeing their battle against the forces of the Dark as reductive. Instead, he seeks universal enlightenment and peace through meditation and harmony.
