This is an absolutely amazing way to build SEL connected to coding. We are so proud of our 2nd graders. @fcpsnews.
Today was the best AAC coding This 2nd grade class has a friend who uses an AAC. Today these kids coding and asked her if she would like to test their code. She instantly clicked Yes and smiled at her friend. Today they were able to let a friend show their voice. @ATS_FCPS

We seriously couldn’t love this enough! 😍😍😍. Our library is a place that honors diversity. Especially neurodiversity. We can’t wait to see what our second graders build! @FCPS_LIS.
Coding meets empathy and understand as second graders this week learned about AAC and assistive technology. Today they are planning an AAC board that they will build and code next week in @ScratchJr. I couldn’t be prouder. @ATS_FCPS

Today my highlight were my teachers who found picture books that represented them and their families that I’ve bought as a part of my massive diversity audit. They checked out ten books to read and share with their families because they felt seen. #weneeddiversebooks @FCPS_LIS
