For those who enjoy games like Your Turn to Die, A.I Somnium Files, Zero Escape etc, I HIGHLY recommend Buried Stars. Underrated gem of a game. Has been giving me chills for the past few days. PICK IT UP.

I'm extremely puzzled by fangan fans who truly believe a death should occur in SH immediately. This has confirmed to me that many don't truly care about the characters and only want to see a death followed by a trial. Our cast has only been in the academy for ONE night.

A bit of advice for fangan fans: we creators understand your excitement, but please STOP asking when the new episodes are out. It doesn't come across in the best way. In fact, you cause myself to be LESS motivated to work. We are not getting paid for this. Remember it.

I dislike this idea that fangans don't progress/end all the time. Fangans have reached completion, and there are those who are grinding to make an awesome game/series. Shattered Hope is the latter. I can't remember a day where we didn't work on the project. Patience is key.

Hardest thing about writing fangans? Trials. The sheer amount of work it takes for a successful trial is staggering, man. The effort pays off in the end for sure, but man is it tough at first.

I see many people say that writing is easy in comparison to art etc. It's not. It might be easier for people to open a program and write words on a page, but how good is your story? It takes years of learning to write a good story, just like it takes years to draw etc.

Was watching a DR: F stream and I'm so frustrated. Nothing by endless comparisons to canon characters. I was even called a Togami impressionist as a amateur VA? Left because I've never felt so disrespected as a creator. We put so much work into this. Terrible stream. So annoyed.

Take notes, creators. This is how you make character designers feel. It's not on at all. Please have more respect.
I feel a little bit bad cause some of the designs weren't all too OG either, but I agree. It makes me feel deflated after holding my breath, waiting for their reaction until suddenly, they just say it reminds them of this specific character.

Was doing reading a uni book & had a think about writing characters. Just my advice, so if you disagree, it's cool.
I think it's crucial not to give your audience/readers a lot about your characters from the offset. It can make them amazing in the moment but dull in the future.

Just finished the true ending. This game was absoultely phenomenal. The tension is by far the best I've experienced in this type of game. The music is stellar, voice acting on point, and the mystery element had me on the edge of my seat.
Go support Buried Stars. It deserves it.

I was playing Your Turn to Die and got past chapter 1 part 1. Didn't save and died like a fool. Had to go all the way back to one of the first puzzles in the game. Not doing all that again.

One thing I cannot stress if you plan to direct a project like a fangan is to talk with and be understanding of your team members. If they're working with you and haven't done a piece or ask for a break, allow them space to do their own thing. Respect them.
