I would like to express sincere condolences to all the families who have lost loved ones, in particular their daughters, who were at the summer camp, in the disaster caused by flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas in the United States. We pray for them.

The election of Pope Leo XIV earlier this month has — at least according to Google search data — led to a renewed interest in people searching for information on how to “become Catholic.”

In a quiet corner of a chapel in Santa Rosa de Lima, Guatemala, we stood before this statue of Jesus. No gold. No backdrop. No grandeur. Just sorrow, strength & love. On Good Friday, we remember: He didn’t have to do it. But He did. For you. For me. For all. #GoodFriday

Unless your tree is too dry and will endanger the home. Then take it down.
Catholics, when do you take down your Christmas decorations? I'd say any time before Epiphany is unacceptable. After Baptism of the Lord (1/12 on new calendar this year; 1/13 on old calendar) is when we do it. And if you wait until February 3rd, you're uber-Catholic.
