Tech heavy focus for the Farm Progress Show this year. A lot of options for drones on display and several ways to help make applications more autonomous. What was your favorite part of the show? Our crew ranked the homemade pie and ice cream high. #FPS25

With all the pollination issues this summer, Ken advises scouting the fields and noting the reason for issues now when the cause is evident instead of being mystified by the lack of yield at harvest. #BIFR

In keeping with tradition, Corn and Soybean College week was a heater, but that didn’t stop attendees from going outside and getting hands on. If you missed it this year, we have the Virtual College on January 8th and have set the dates for next year’s Corn College 7/21-7/22.

Heavy cloud cover or haze can affect pollination. Continue to scout your pollination progress to keep a good handle on your yield estimates.

Had questions yesterday at the field day, and more trickling in, on the podcast this week (starting at the 1:00 mark) Ken talks about what he has seen and what conditions can cause poor pollination like some growers are seeing.
