Overall the story is amateurish, the acting is very solid all around, and although I will always cheer on blues music, the Irish folk is silly and feels forced. Again, those darn white devils... ๐๐

If you want to show that Stack is a badass, you don't need 7 scenes that say the exact same thing. At least have variation in his bad-assery. The dialogue drags on with little interest. The characters talk endlessly about nothing. That nothing doesn't even tie to the plot.

There's tons of worlds building, but it reminds me of middle school writing assignments that have a word count requirement so it just rambles undirected repeatedly. Many unnecessary scenes. Again, disjointed and pointless scenes.

I would describe it as silly, revisionist, crass, ridiculous, disjointed, poorly edited, and at 2.25 hours, it was about 60 minutes too long. It takes way too long to get going. The trailers indicate it's a vampire movie, but you don't get the (random) intro until half way...

Wow. Just watched Sinners because I heard it was phenomenal. Below average. Perhaps it was my expectations, but I give it a 5/10. It's not a good movie. It passes time, and the acting was quite good, but anti-white racism is the biggest theme in the movie.
