The need for stabilizing housing before someone loses their home has never been more urgent.
The number of people experiencing unsheltered homelessness in the County has increased. The annual Point in Time Count shows a 16% increase from last year, fueling a greater need for services while resources continue to shrink:

We often get calls looking to donate medical equipment. Unfortunately, that's not within our focus areas. But here's a great option for Mecklenburg County residents.
Recycle gently used medical equipment with us! Bring scooters, manual wheelchairs, shower chairs and walkers to Compost Central (140 Valleydale Road, Charlotte). A local nonprofit will donate the equipment to uninsured or underinsured patients:
