#SportHour A3 I get so much from volunteering! I’ve gained further sports qualifications, met lots of new people from across Scotland and had new experiences and opportunities through volunteering! It’s very rewarding to help and support others in their sporting journeys!

#SportHour A2 Saltire Awards are a great way to celebrate, recognise and reward the commitment, contribution and achievements of young volunteers in Scotland. This is a great and easy way for young leaders in schools to begin their volunteering journey!

#SportHour A1 Highlighting the benefits that volunteering brings to all! As a volunteer you get to meet new people, gain new skills and experiences. I would definitely recommend volunteering to all young people it’s such a great experience that is highly enjoyable and rewarding!

#SportHour A3 I think a great example would be PE in schools! This is the starting point where you begin to explore a variety of sports that require different skill sets. The skills gained here are transferrable throughout school and everyday life!

#SportHour A2 There are so many opportunities for young people to progress through sport! @sportscotland @YouthSportTrust offer so many amazing leadership roles such as #YAScotland, #YACDT, #YPSP and #FitForGirls! Great way to begin your sporting journey, and gain experience!
