On Tuesday, members of the Senior School Council travelled to Westminster for an exciting morning in Parliament. They enjoyed a tour followed by a highly interactive workshop during which they created their own petitions and submitted them to the MPs (their teachers!).

Cranmore and @ManorHseSchool Reception had a fantastic morning at Pizza Express. The children were shown around the restaurant, learnt about the history of Pizza Express and its yummy ingredients, before making their own delicious Margarita pizza.

This year, 379 of our Upper Prep and Senior pupils took part in the Bebras Challenge 2025. One of our Year 11 pupils, Sam, achieved the remarkable feat of scoring a perfect 165. Overall, 50 pupils achieved Gold, placing them in the top 10% nationally!

This week in Year 2, we have been learning about Safari animals. The children learnt about their habitats and used the VR headsets to get up close to a cheetah, some elephant and lions. It was a great way to bring their learning to life!

Year 7 produced some impressive models demonstrating thermal transfer in their latest project. Understanding these processes has all kinds of everyday applications, from cooking and insulation to climate systems!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Everyone here at Cranmore has been celebrating the last day of term with plenty of festivity. Christmas jumpers filled the school with colour, we enjoyed a lovely assembly with a Christmas raffle, and lunch was amazing!

The Lower Prep Chamber Choir sang at All Saints Church, Ockham, on Sunday. They gave a beautiful performance of Away in a Manger and Can You Hear the Angels Singing. The children thoroughly enjoyed being part of the family Christmas service, which was a truly lovely occasion.

Our Year 7 pupils enjoyed an action-packed two days at Calshot Activity Centre in Southampton! They took part in kayaking, climbing, problem-solving and even rode down the indoor ski slope on inflatable rings.

Year 2 are thoroughly enjoying their topic of Castles! In art, they used oil pastels and a colour wash to create beautiful sandcastles.

Wonderful to see so many children taking part in our skiing club! We travelled to Aldershot, where students of all ages and abilities took on the slopes with great enthusiasm.

First silverware of the year and a brilliant start to the term for our U13 football team! They won the Parkside 7-a-side Tournament on Saturday, going unbeaten in the pool and beating strong opponents in the knockout stages.

Year 3 enjoyed their trip to Go Ape, spending the day swinging, climbing, and smiling all the way. A fantastic time was had by all!
