We are proud to share that our Sole Roze 2024 has been awarded a Gold Medal at the AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge 2025. It is a blend of 55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Novac.

Oak has been part of winemaking for centuries, and for good reason. Beyond simply storing wine, barrels shape its character in subtle but important ways. The slow exchange of oxygen through the wood helps soften tannins and round out structure.

Our Dreambird Pinot Grigio is a crisp, refreshing white, perfect for Autumn weekends. It has been hand-harvested in the cool mornings from our vineyards in Romania, and the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel to preserve their pure character. #pinotgrigio

Our Solomonar Reserve brings together the fruit of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with the unique depth of Fetească Neagră, Romania’s signature red grape. The result is a wine that balances international familiarity with a distinctly local character, making it rather unique.

Having shown you our hand harvesting, we thought it would be interesting to share the fine work the mechanical harvesters do. With the sheer amount of vineyards we own, it would be almost impossible to pick all the grapes by hand.

We couldn’t resist sharing another glimpse of this year’s harvest. Our pickers work with incredible skill and dedication, moving swiftly through the rows to gather grapes at their peak. Thanks to their effort and care, the fruit reaches the winery in the best possible condition.

At Cramele Recaș, scale has never meant compromise. While we are proud to be one of Romania’s largest producers, many of our vineyards are still harvested by hand.

We believe that Romania’s indigenous white grapes deserve more recognition. First identified in 1920 in Daneș, the variety is now the most widely planted white grape in Romania. It is loved for its aromatic precision, natural acidity and firm, lingering structure.
