Last Friday we hosted our annual CHS Sports Day. Thank you to all our amazing pupils for their incredible spirit and sportsmanship during the day! Congratulations to Calton House for taking home the victory overall and the following pupils for becoming sports champions! 🏆💜

Over the last week S6 pupils have been competing against staff in multiple activities such as netball, basketball and a hyrox fitness challenge 🏆. Overall a great week of sport and fun, with the staff narrowly coming out on top!

🔦Class Spotlight - Mr Gray. My S1 class have been working hard in the gym, developing an understanding of how to use various pieces of equipment both safely and efficiently. We have been exploring the different types of resistance training that we can do 💪🏋️♀️

Our S1 pupil Kana played well to contribute to the East of Scotland 18U County Cup team by winning 2 singles and 2 doubles. The team won division 3 to be promoted to division 2 next year 🏴. Great job Kana! 🏆

🔦 Class Spotlight - Mr Pye. Mr Pye’s S1 Outdoor fitness classes were learning about speed, strength and stamina. They were then tasked with creating their own sessions in small groups. This allowed the pupils to challenge each other in a fun and constructive way 🏋️🏃🏽♀️
