We warm things up a bit today with our winds shifting around to the south. Skies will remain mostly sunny. Highs will reach into the lower half of the 80's today with mid 70's at SPI.

The weather center is a part of the studio and sometimes the studio between shows can have a pretty relaxed vibe.

A light jacket will feel good this morning at the bus stops. Mostly clear skies are expected today. Northerly winds will continue to push some cooler air into the Valley keeping highs mostly in the upper 60's today; maybe 71 in Starr County.

We get to ride a bit of a temperature rollercoaster today thanks to a cold front that will be pushing through later this morning into the afternoon. With a few showers possible we should reach the mid 70's ahead of the front, then drop into the 60's during the afternoon.

We warm it up a bit today, compared to yesterday. Most of us will top out in the mid to upper 70's this afternoon with a few folks in the western areas reaching 80 for a high. Mostly cloudy skies will be the rule. A cold front will bring us rain and cooler temperatures tomorrow.

The combination of clouds and cool air will make a jacket feel good outside today. Temperatures will struggle to reach 60 in the east with some lower 60's out west as some peaks of the sun are more likely there. Spotty drizzle is still possible, mostly closer to the coast.

Grab those jackets as you head out the door today. It is going to be a cloudy and cool Monday as we head back to school and work. Highs will struggle to get out of the 50's today. We could also see a little patchy light rain or drizzle from time to time.
