The best title ring in-ring. Excellent stuff with Danielson, solid matches with Cole and the well-received match with Omega.
Criticised by many for not feeling like the champion but, to me, he felt like he had a quiet and dangerous authority.

After I watched and enjoyed the Cruiserweight Classic I knew lots of wrestlers I did not before.

A reign blighted by the pandemic but it was a Jon Moxley pre-BCC evolution.
It was a good reign elevated by incredible promo work and the odd special match; Brodie Lee at Double or Nothing.

Father and son, manager and wrestler act.
The wrestler is talented but worried about disappointing his father, who in turn is cold, harsh and impossible to please.
The wrestler could be driven to heinous actions to make father proud.

These shows could be a breeding ground of creativity and opportunity for wrestlers who aren’t TV mainstays. One week Dark could be a knock out tournament, the next it’s a big Beat the Clock Challenge and then you could do a ‘Up and Comers’ round robin.

A losing streak where somebody becomes more and more disheveled. Like the Corbin stuff but more serious.
Brandon Cutler could be upset after a match because not only did he lose but his gear ripped and he’s broke. Because he keeps losing.

This was not the ‘Best Bout Machine’. However Omega clashed with Danielson in an epic, put in a well-received match with Fenix and ended with a popular one with Page.
Some wonderful character work and the fabulous Elite/Dark Order 5v5.
