But the vision is crystal. A bold space that turns pints into pixels. A workshop pushing us closer to net zero. A proper home for Scotland’s indie PC scene.

The financial plan is tighter than a postage stamp. The whole thing already feels like an early episode of Grand Designs. If Kevin McCloud shows up with that “are you sure?” look… I won’t be shocked.

This new space means: • Our whole team is finally under one roof • More incredible systems built by hand • More tech saved from landfill • A home we can open to customers, creators, students, partners… everyone

Well… things just moved. We’ve submitted a planning application to turn an old pub in the centre of Kilmarnock into a 4,000 sq ft Innovation Centre. Typing that feels absolutely surreal.

For a year, we’ve been quietly shaping what we call the Adventure Era at Utopia. Nothing corporate, nothing flashy. Just a shared vision, a tight plan and a stubborn wee team rowing in the same direction.

You ever have one of those moments where a plan stops being a Google Doc…and suddenly becomes real? That happened this week.
