this isn’t just one single scene they are filming, it’s been ryan and oliver filming ALONE for the last 4 days. this is a WHOLE storyline. they wouldn’t waste time and resources for a quick gotcha moment. this is a full storyline atp. SOMETHING is happening.

Buck wandering around the motel room frantically trying to piece together a plan to get back to LA because he knows Eddie wants to get back to Chris and Eddie sitting on the bed watching him with this find, exasperated look on his face and

“There’s one more thing.” Eddie smiled softly, “I’m in love with you.”

“Buck…” Eddie took a deep breath, “I’m gay.” Buck’s smile faded ever so slightly and panic seized Eddies chest, “You are?” “Is that okay?” “W-what? Of course that’s okay Eddie,” Buck said seriously, “Thank you for telling me.”

“Buck…” Eddie began, “Can I add one more thing to the list of things that have happened today? Maybe something the will.. go right?” “Please.” Buck laughed, turning his head to face Eddie, peaking one eye open as he grinned at his best friend.

Eddie pathetically reached out and kicked Bucks leg, causing him to let out a laugh. Eddie marveled at him, his eyes still closed and golden hour causing him to glow like an angel.

“The only option for a bed tonight was some crappy highway motel with only one room available.” Eddie continued, his breath catching slightly. “Sharing a bed,” Buck said, smiling slightly, “hope you don’t blanket hog like you used to.”

“Which meant we couldn’t make it to the fancy five star hotel the LAFD had booked and paid for for us.” Eddie held up a third finger. “Rest in peace hot tub.” Buck nods miserably, a pout on his face.

“That’s one,” Buck hummed, “keep going.” “Your truck broke down in some random run down town and there isn’t a garage available till tomorrow.” Eddie held up a second finger. “Strike two.” Buck murmured.

“Well let’s see, left Nashville late cause we had to wait on the pharmacy opening for my pain meds for my shoulder.” Eddie started, copying Buck by leaning back. Their legs splayed out on the truck bed as they watched the sunset in whatever state they had made it too.

“What a day huh?” Buck snorted, “You can say that again. Let’s count, how many things went wrong for us today?” he mused, closing his eyes and leaning his head back against the rental truck. 🧵

We’re really getting a scene with just Buck and Eddie in the middle of nowhere that looks like THIS. WHAT IF THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT OUR BUDDIE KISS SCENE LOOKS LIKE.
