The Council on Occupational Education will be closed in observance of the holiday season from December 23, 2025, through January 1, 2026. Regular business hours and services will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026. We extend our warmest wishes to everyone. Happy Holidays !

Dr. Nooks continued his Texas tour with a visit to Southwest School of Business and Technical Careers in San Antonio, where he was welcomed by President Ahmad Dib, a valued COE Commissioner, which made this stop particularly special.

Dr. Nooks made his second stop in San Antonio, Texas at Milan Institute. The visit included hands-on program demonstrations, student interactions, and discussions, reflecting the institute’s commitment to career and technical education and student success.

On December 1st, Dr. Nooks brought his Presidential Leadership in Motion Tour to Alamo City Barber College in San Antonio, Texas. This stop celebrated the vital role of career and technical education in preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.

We will be closed on Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will resume normal operations on Monday, December 1. Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving !
