Aaand… that’s it. Goodbye Twitter. You can catch me on Instagram as @tohubohufilm. Will probably get a Mastodon account as well, but don’t have it set up yet.

Excited to be spending the day with the @WheatonFilmFest! (“Separation Smackdown” from @TohubohuFilm will be showing later this evening, so a whole lot of films to enjoy before then!)

One final @TohubohuFilm short to rewatch before tonight’s big event! (And tickets are still available at https://t.co/VqRxMONLSS.)
Time for one more Tohubohu film before tonight’s “Best of @DC_48HFP Sci Fi Horror” screening and awards ceremony at @AFISilver. So let’s have a look at “The Golden Cage of Television,” our homage to classic 50s comedy.

The retrospective continues in the buildup to the “Best of @DC_48HFP Sci Fi Horror” screening at @AFISilver tomorrow evening. Today, enjoy “Bombshell,” a fun little piece inspired by a conversation between Alfred Hitchcock and François Truffaut:

Continuing to enjoy this little return to the @TohubohuFilm classics!
In the ongoing Tohubohu retrospective as we approach Wednesday’s @AFISilver “Best of @DC_48HFP Sci Fi Horror” screening, here’s a look at “The Least Among Us” (a slightly more explicit “horror” film than this year’s “Closure Corps”):

Another film from the Tohubohu @DC_48HFP back catalog, this one featuring not one but two of our actors from “Closure Corps”: “Winston,” which would go on to take home the Levin Grand Prize in the 2016 @WheatonFilmFest.

In the lead-up to next Wednesday’s “Best Of”@DC_48HFP Sci Fi Horror Project screening at @AFISilver, we thought we’d share a few highlights from past years. Today’s selection: “The Greater Evil,” Best Film winner at the 2015 Politics & Comedy event. https://t.co/2Tt7NzhM66

OMG, just watched the “Director by Night” film on Disney+ — cannot imagine a greater love letter to people who just want to make movies for the sheer love of it.

Way too many examples to mention, but check out “Tex:Wisdom of the Old West” to see a prime example of where my direction was really just pointing a bunch of crazy-talented people in the same direction. https://t.co/Ge3MGN3x6W 2/2

Went down the rabbit hole of watching a slew of @TohubohuFilm shorts after a couple of scotches (don’t judge — wasn’t the single-malt stuff), and came to one big realization: Surround yourself with people way more talented than you and coax them into bringing out their best. 1/2

Curious realization: I honestly think I’ve only ever *literally* walked out of a movie once. Ironically, it’s now one of my all-time favorite films, but at the time, I just couldn’t handle it. Any guesses?

No trick or treaters this year. I was so looking forward to it — even wore my exact inner structure, done on a t-shirt. Not one. 😞

People have lots of entertaining stories about losing a wedding band. Somehow I don’t think “I lost it while folding laundry” quite makes that list. (Nor does the story of finally recovering it afterward.)

Okay, so changing the sheets ends up taking three times as long. But it’s definitely more entertaining. “Hey, that moving fitted sheet could be hiding a mouse!”
