This week, Year 4 were trainee pizza chefs at Pizza Express. They learned how to make a magarita pizza - with great success! Molto bene Year 4!

Engineering Club got off to a great start last night. First we practised measuring accurately before cutting wood which will be used to make the chassis of a car.

Year 6 were at #LiveTales today @LiveTheatre in Newcastle taking part in a Creative Writing workshop.

Well done to the red team who won our Year 6 mini tournament in our final Quick Sticks Hockey lesson. All children played really well as part of a team and clearly demonstrated their new skills.

Another fantastic from That History Bloke. Year 6 really enjoyed learning more about the Ancient Egyptians.

Year 5- First Aid Training learning CPR with Caroline @TumblesGrumbles

Year 5- Visit to open house in Low fell as part of our natural resources topic in humanities trying to become more sustainable. Big thank you to Richard who explained all about his business and products and answered all of our many questions!

Year 6 have been working with Caroline from Tumbles and Grumbles this morning. They have been learning how to help somebody who is unconscious using DR ABC.

Year 5- Liturgy Year 5 planned and led a beautiful liturgy around the theme of commitment, they shared all of their hard work from the topic and reflected on how they might show commitment to something in the coming weeks. Well done 😀😀

Year 5- No Pens Day We enjoyed short film predictions, hot seating and some quick fire multiplication and division mathopoly.

Year 5- Joining schools across the country in Joe Wicks children in need workout.

Year 5- Enjoying a mapping session exploring the local area and learning how to read grid references to find locations. Throw in a bit of healthy competition, who knew map reading could be some competitive!

Our BFG dream jar inspired homework was a hit during half term. The results were amazing. But who will be the winner?

Year 5 and the rest of the school had fun exploring a new app called Book creator with Jason from Gem Company. We can't wait to start making our own books showing off what we have learnt in school.
