Back in the icu again, hospitalized since Feb.19

Please keep me and my family in mind during this time as it’s been difficult for all of us. Thanks again to anyone who has been supportive or following my cancer journey. 💕.

Thankfully my choice seems to have paid off so far, I’m still here and still alive. I’ve been told I have a high chance of bleeding out due to an infection close to my carotid. Any prayers, positivity and support would be greatly appreciated at this time.

The last week or so has been really scary and frustrating. I ended up in hospital with less than stellar news, told my only two options basically could lead to death. I chose to wait it out and not do an emergency surgery that would have left me on a trach permanently (1/?).

I guess despite the progression elsewhere, I’m lucky that my treatment is still helping improve my lungs. If you could keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers this coming year as we await my results and treatment, we’d really appreciate it.

Depending on the results I should be able to have radio surgery (another type of radiation) that should hopefully remove those mets. Somehow, even with the progression my three protocol chemo treatment seems to still be reducing the cancer in my lungs.

Including before Christmas when I found out that my cancer has progressed. I unfortunately have new growths on my side, and potentially on my liver. I had an MRI just before Christmas and I’m waiting on confirmation if it is in fact on my liver too.

Sacrificing financially or living part time in another province to help me. It’s been a struggle the last few years for various reasons, but the support I’ve had has meant the world to me and helped me in my darkest times.

I’ll never be able to thank them or my friends or boyfriend for the love and support they’ve shown me since my diagnosis in 2022. In some ways I’m beyond blessed. I have amazing parents and a brother who really try to make sure I can get the treatments I need, even if that means.

I haven’t been very active on social media in the last while. This year has had its ups and downs, I’m so thankful that my treatment has been working as well as it has for so long. I’m thankful for my family and all they do for me to try to get me through each day.

I’ve been granted a wish and I’m going to see Taylor Swift October 18th with my mom and service dog. I don’t know if there is a chance Taylor will ever see this but it would mean a lot to me if I could have the memory of hearing The Best Day as a surprise song, (1/2).

Even if it comes with the reminder of all that’s occurred in the last two years. Here’s hoping that I’ll be able to celebrate another year next year. Thank you to everyone who has shown any support these last couple of years, I wouldn’t be here without you. 💕.

It’s really unfortunate that my diagnosis date is so close to my birthday and the two are forever intertwined. Each year it becomes harder for me to accept how much my life has changed since I was diagnosed. I’m so thankful for each birthday I get to celebrate,.

It’s pretty sad when two @Uber in a row cancel on you after pulling up and seeing you have a service dog. 🙃.

Whenever I’m not doing well she knows and makes sure to keep me company. My little angel. 💕

On Valentine’s Day I got news that the new treatment, that I started after Christmas, was showing positive results. After one month I was showing progress that shouldn’t be seen until about three months into treatment. I’m so thankful for this good news.
