2021 has seen a gentle return to CPGG get togethers with just the single Stihl event at Trewithen. However, we have bigger plans for 2022 so watch this space! Thank you @CwllGardenSoc for your continued support. #Gardens #Cornwall

Getting ready for our first @CornwallHorts event since the pandemic started tomorrow - a Stihl demo morning at Trewithen. Hopefully this gentle start to things will be the beginning of a return to our usual program of events.

Just a quick reminder to you all that this Sunday,(5th Sept) sees the Rare Plant Fair return to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens near Penzance. A great opportunity to get your hands on some rare & unusual plants.

We many have lost 2021's spring show program but we can now begin planning for the show season for 2022! Dates are as follows; March 12th & 13th - Early Rosemoor show. 19th & 20th Trelissick daffodil show. 26th & 27th Falmouth Show. April 2nd & 3rd Cornwall Garden Society show.

Lots of people are struggling at times like these. If you don't like the idea of 'accepting charity' consider things like this an investment in you that you could pay forward once you're back on your feet... Don't, however, think you have to suffer alone.
If you are struggling to feed family this lockdown locally, DM confidentially and ill do food that i,m doing each week for you delivered, no charge. We don't even have to see each other ,i leave it on your doorstep. Don't be embarrassed to ask for help, we all need it sometimes

There's a huge one of these in the hedge on the entry sliproad on the A30 w/b near Kennard's House!
Morning turn on your "smell-o-vision" for this one. on #mycommute today I bring you Ligustrum ovalifolium or "Privet" usually a tightly clipped hedge but if you leave it grow you get these very sweet, Heavenly scented flowers. @PlantNetwork @CornwallHorts @The_RHS
