Was so special to see so many @Paarl_Boishaai players in the two teams. Maybe a bit early to say we have taken over from Grey but we are definitely heading in the right direction.

We don’t get to hear our national anthem at the Olympics often - which makes it all the more special when we do. You had an entire country breathless for the whole race, @TRSchoenmaker - but gave us all the biggest of smiles. South Africa oh so proud tonight!

@Elmakapelma Not entirely true. Contrary to popular belief there are numerous hospitals in my city of residence, like University Teaching Hospital (UTH) and Military Hospital in those times. @CorneKrige6 I'm sure will confirm he was not born in the military hospital where @georgegregan was
