Got NVIDIA’s Nemotron 3 Nano 30b (@UnslothAI gguf) to run on my @Microsoft Surface Pro tonight. It’s slooooow, but it runs :) got-oss-20b was the biggest prior. It’s worth reading this goofy interaction when I said hi and it assumed I didn’t know its name actually WAS Nemotron.

Excited to test it out like this. I’ve gotten some value in the past using AI as a fact-checker, but accuracy was iffy. Have to give this a fresh look.
I have found GPT-5.2 Thinking to be a surprisingly deep second-opinion/fact checker. I gave it a dense paragraph with a few correct claims, a couple errors that required research to find, and some things that needed interpretation It found and gently corrected all the problems

I think one of my favorite shifts with GPT-5.2 is probably its style on creative tasks. While conversationally it’s more get to the point, when give a really niche creative request it seems to have a little more flair than past models. It hangs on well to drama; character
