2 hikers on Diez Vistas trail, one in distress.
Dispatched 3x teams via UTV/E-Bike/Hiking.
Subject fed, watered, and rewarmed, then hiked back to south saddle for UTV extraction.

Waterway search and rescue missions are very time sensitive! Our marine team regularly performs marine scenarios to practice their skills and learn new. Having a jet boat allows our team to quickly respond to water SAR tasks.

Fortunate to have a skilled e-bike team who can expediate & locate a missing or injured person. Our e-bike volunteers are constantly perfecting their difficult terrain skills so they can safely bring your loved one home.

Difficult terrain we experience during a task involves tech skills such as ETTS (exposed terrain travel skills), unique to Coq SAR. This training is aimed at providing all field volunteers a standard set of ACMG needed to travel.

Thanks to all our volunteers who supported DV50 Ultra medical aid! We treated 8 racers and rescued a person in distress. Great teamwork during the quick extraction with bikes, Talon, and the HETS team! Thank you DV50 for your donation much appreciated!

Coquitlam SAR responded to an incident involving a subject who was part of a school trip and experienced an allergic reaction while hiking on Diez Vista around D9. BCEHS called us out to assist. We performed a HETS extraction and handed her over to BCEHS.

This was a couple who found themselves lost at West Van Lookout / Full Pull so we invited them to hike down with us. It wasn't a formal task or call-out, just my wife and dog helping out a pair of stranded hikers.
