Kamran Hekmatian — a 70 year-old Iranian-American Jew who immigrated to the US in 1968 and is now battling cancer— travelled to Iran for a family visit. The Court of Islamic Revolution sentenced him to 4 years. The excuse? His 2012 visit to Israel. For his son's Bar Mitzvah.
