I'm old enough to remember when a supporter of Jeremy Corbyn set up a Crowdfunder to buy him a new bike. While grateful for the gesture, Corbyn declined the offer and paid for his own bike. The money was given to charity. What a bastard, eh?

Less than 5 months ago, Keir Starmer felt ‘disgusted’ by the idea of pensioners not being able to heat their homes. What a difference an election makes.

Shouldn't MPs be means tested before they can claim their heating bills on expenses, or does that logic apply only to poor pensioners?
