Cops who are parents. Did you know that you're entitled to two parental leave days a year? Seems alot of people arent aware of this.

Curious to know what CID around other forces deal with. Do you deal with RASSO or do you have a specialist unit. Do you deal with "High risk" DV or does your Safeguarding department deal with it? We deal with both and all stuff you'd expect CID to pick up too

She's absolutely right and its the main reason I was so desperate to get out of uniform. 90% of police time is wasted on adults who can't adult, and arse covering in case their own poor life choices catch up with them and its somehow the police's fault. I imagine she's in trouble

So our place are getting rid of civilian IO's in our Prisoner handling team and backfilling with PC's. So stripping yet more cops from the front line which is already hanging on by a thread. They should be increasing civvy IO numbers so cops arent stuck in offices!!!

Right, now that this political policing measure has been implemented, now expect neighbourhood police officer figures to slowly dip back to the levels they were before as gaps in other departments are plugged and officers want to move onto a new role

At court today along with 3 young in service officers. Drowning in jobs, talking about whether they still see themselves in the job this time next year. And because their duties had been changed for court, it meant there were only 4 cops on the night shift 😒 #thinblueline

We are seeing increased numbers of protests akin to mainland Europe, but unlike our European counterparts we are woefully under equipped to deal with them. We need water canons and rubber bullets. And proper, no nonsense unapologetic robust policing!
