Twas the night before baseball & all through the park, not a creature was stirring—except me in the dark. The Rockies are back, the gates open wide,.Though snow’s in the forecast, we’ll take it in stride. So bundle up, fans, in purple & cheer,.Opening Day is the best of the year!

Smokey is doing amazing. He’s become super social, always wants to be pet & loves licking people. Recently a mouse scurried in while he was on the couch & he looked at me as if to say “what are you going to do about that?” He acts like a retired cat but is as sweet as they come!

Who wants a Smokey update?! If you remember Smokey was the older, long-haired black cat who had called Coors Field home for at least a decade. His health was starting to become a concern & in Aug ‘23 he was adopted. His new family recently shared some pics & info ⬇️

Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals AAA affiliate) hosted Take Meowt to the Ballpark May 25. You could bring your cat to the game (20-30 showed up!) & enjoy cat-themed music, noises & videos; players pics w/ cats on the Jumbotron; & a cat nap following the 7th inning stretch 😻
