China’s millennials and Gen Z are falling out of love with consumerism. Instead, they’re fueling a new “frugal living” social media movement as reality bites. 🧵 https://t.co/gxoOaLhJ6J

For those wondering (no one), I appealed my claim with Anthem & got nowhere & brilliant fiancé said I can negotiate with the hospital so I did, they said to fill out a financial assistance form…

Is anyone else a little irked by the fact that the pre set Sweetgreen salads are never exactly as you would want them or fit dietary needs and you always need to make mods? Just learned today custom is cheaper & better 😛

When someone pastes direct quote from a legal document as if I can’t read plain English. I can read thanks, I just don’t trust you to follow what’s outlined which is why I’m asking for common understanding 🙄

Why can’t we have productive startups doing hard sh*t AND also respect their employees as humans? Please explain to me why these 2 concepts are mutually exclusive in the tech world.

Will fully admit that I am still a newbie in this wild world of tech/startups…so I gotta ask, why is the “we move fast and break things and you need to be OK with pivoting and sacrificing your life for work” mentality still a thing?

My sister said “omg my friend saw Addison Rae on the street” and I’m like 🤔😶. Her response: “Wow you’re old” Sadly having a Tiktok doesn’t make me young cuz my fyp knows I’m a 30-something yo cat owner & foodie.

My new routine: (1) playing Wordle in bed when I wake up (2) watching a hundred hours of the Olympics instead of trash reality TV cuz I love a good redemption story

Final thoughts: I’m really proud to see Eileen so connected with her Chinese heritage, despite being born & raised in the US, where it can be hard to keep an interest in order to try to fit in or simply bc of distance. Chinese is a freggin hard language to learn!
