Dribblers break lines and cause chaos from all areas of the pitch - CBs that can dribble/travel are gold dust ⚽️.
Cristhian Mosquera. Saliba-esque pausa. Saliba-esque dribbling to create passing lanes to bypass the press. A very similar profile indeed. Not bad for less than £20m, eh? 🔴⚪️

Can’t produce these in England unfortunately as not enough value placed on small players in early years and most investment in early maturated players 😢.
The Vitinha variants. Portugal’s U21’s & U17’s had Diogo Nascimento & Rafael Quintas as the profile twins of Vitinha. Small press resistant DM’s with punchy line breakers, pinpoint long passes, tenacious OOP, slow/speed up tempo and close control to dribble through tight areas.

I don’t know the answer but wonder if Spain/Portugal academies pay as much attention to the physical corner (top performers usually over maturated) as what we do in England.

The ability to play off both feet and go both ways is a nightmare for defenders, HE isn’t quick but he’s a fast football brain and the ability to play off both sides. Support young players even those currently dominating to play off both sides 🙏⚽️
