Wanted to make sure I addressed all the major common criticisms with this update--available on Steam now (also 66% off!):

If inventory management is something you despise in general, you can also just opt to start with a complete 16 slot inventory + 4 special slots--this basically negates the need to manage items.

You can sell items straight from your item storage to the merchant, and items purchased with a full inventory will get sent straight to storage.

New item storage boxes and save rooms are placed around the map, so when you do have to backtrack to store items it doesn't take as long.

Item management was one of the primary criticisms of the original game--so I wanted to alleviate the frustrations of it in v2.0 while maintaining its role as a pillar of survival horror. You can now get 4 extra item slots specifically for the gas mask, knife, torch & lighter.

Beyond happy with the reception to the Director's Cut update on Steam. I really took a lot of the major criticisms with the main game to heart and so I wanted to improve the core experience in a way that didn't fundamentally change what CONSCRIPT was.
