I am so proud and so grateful! My first class of students who traveled through 6th, 7th, & 8th grades with me as an assistant principal. We overcame so many obstacles, including a global pandemic, and they taught me more than I could ever thank them for! 🐻 ❤️.

As an LGBTQ+ educator, I often share that my grade 7 teachers saved my life because they could and did act when they saw the systematic bullying happening to me. That’s why now I say Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning at school daily. Simply, it saves lives.
