Q3. Is dark tourism ethical? The answer to this question depends on who you are and who you ask. Common criticisms are: - It is unethical to profit off of suffering. - It amplifies the spread of misinformation. - It is unethical to visit our of morbid curiosity.

Q2. Why do people become dark tourists? People are interested in the dark side of humanity and history for a few reasons. - To seek closure from a tragic event. - To understand of how people deal with tragedy. - To pay respect to victims. - To come to terms with death.

Identify big-ticket expenses in advance. The obvious ones are airfare and accommodations. You will also want to set aside money for rental cars, public transportation, and an emergency fund so that you are prepared for anything!
