I understand @lewis_goodall questioning @JohnHealey_MP on why the person at the centre of the Afghan data leak is still employed by the MOD but it sits uneasy with me. Here's why I think it is entirely right that they are still employed. (Link in the first comment).

RT @ChinookJustice: #coverup appears to be the mantra of the British state … with the MoD at the centre of it. Again.

The government has serverely underestimated the strength of feeling amongst veterans. Conservative sources believe it is a policy “built on sand” and driven by Lord Hermer.
As MPs debate Northern Ireland veterans, it is the biggest turnout I have seen for a Westminster Hall debate. Gallery packed with berets.

The personal side of politics we rarely see, although we should hold off speculating on why she was crying. MPs should be held to the highest level of scrutiny but we must also remember that they are people, the majority of whom are in politics for the right reasons.
A tear just rolled down the Chancellor’s cheek at #PMQs as the PM refuses to answer whether or not she’ll stay in her job. Hayfever, or something else?

Just weeks after MOD launched the SDR promising to invest in service accommodation, Catterick Garrison has been left "resembling Birmingham" as bins go uncollected. The MOD says that the fault lies with North Yorkshire Council who blame the soldiers 🤯.

The British military does not use lethal force to protect equipment. It does so only to protect life that is directly under threat. That said, these people should be charged with espionage with a custodial sentence to match.
@christiancalgie I was always taught that breaking into a military base would get you shot. Apparently not.
