Hard to imagine there being a better player in the league right now than Rockland’s Vincent Labelle. The 15th RND Pick of the Knights finished with 2G 1A this afternoon and was noticeable every time he was on the ice. Looking like a late round steal for London. @ScoutingService

This year I’m anticipating around 27-32 HEO players getting selected compared to 19 in 2020, 24 in 2019, and 25 in 2018. It’s a strong draft year for the area and I see a group of about 22 players getting drafted with another 18-20 players after having a decent chance. #OHLDraft

@ConorMulliganHP Real scouts do not name players or share their views on players publicly. Dominant? Tremendous? Controlling? Big words. Stop glazing and using superlatives and hashtags to appear relevant. You are not what the real scouting community is about.

What makes Carleton Place’s Oliver Bonk a high-end prospect for the OHL Draft is his ability to manage the puck. Makes smart decisions, doesn’t force anything, passes are accurate, and he rarely turns the puck over. Creates offense with zone entries. #OHLDraft @ScoutingService

Jacob Osborne (OJS) and Adam Cater (NEP) were two players I really liked last season and I would be surprised if they weren’t selected today. Connor Shibley (NEP) and Brady McEwan (CPC) are good goalie options as well. #OHLU18Draft

Been very impressed with NEP forward G Daher (02) over the last month. He has elevated his game to another level and this is the best hockey I’ve seen him play in 2 years. Was dominant every time he touched the puck tonight in Nepean’s 4-3 win over Smith Falls. @ScoutingService

Renfrew defeats Brockville 13-3. Tough game to evaluate but Kent Moors (05) was dominant and should be a high pick in the U18 Draft. Despite the loss, I was impressed with the work ethic/compete from Braves fwds Jordan Laroda (06)/Hunter McKnight (06). @ScoutingService #OHLDraft

Barrie Colts select @U18Colts forward Roenick Jodoin with the 149th pick. Undersized forward but might be one of the best skaters in the draft. His speed makes him difficult to contain and allows him to weave through defenders with ease. Deceptive skill. #OHLDRAFT

One of the few positives of this week is that I have had a lot more free time to prepare and review video for the OHL Draft. HockeyProspect’s OHL Draft Guide will be released sometime next week. @ScoutingService
