So the poor get poorer, the rich get richer, & the “Big Beautiful Bill” adds $3+ trillion to deficits over a decade??. We have truly lost our fiscal sanity. To fix our fiscal problems, we have to raise taxes AND cut expenses. No politician will ever say this, but it’s the truth.
The Senate’s version of Donald Trump’s tax cut bill will cost the bottom 20% of taxpayers an average of $560 a year while giving an average boost of $6,055 to those at the top end

Awesome to share the stage w/ Jim McCain last night; I got to see his Dad in action 25 years ago as a Page and Jim is a chip off the old block!. As Jim put it, @marleneforAZ is a unifying leader (like Senator McCain) who will reach across the aisle to bring Ds & Rs together 💪🏻🗳️.

What an utterly moronic take 🤦🏻♂️. 14% of the signers of the Declaration of Independence & 18% of the signers of the Constitution were foreign-born. You could have a “years of citizenship” requirement (and do the same for POTUS!), but ultimately voters are the checks & balances. .
I'm sorry, but Congress should consist of 100% American-born citizens. The following members of congress are FOREIGN-BORN. REPLACE THEM. Senate:.1. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) – Born in Japan. 2. Bernie Moreno (R-OH) – Born in Colombia. House of Representatives:.1. Salud Carbajal.

Padraic Scanlan’s book was the furthest thing from “fun” given the subject matter, but I really enjoyed sitting down w/ him & @Cole_Smead to discuss the potato famine & the complex economic dynamics that helped fuel & exacerbate it. I highly recommend “Rot” for any history buffs!.

This is crazy - @SUNY wouldn’t let a proud Dad walk with his young son out of “safety concerns”?!?!. When I walked at @FordhamLawNYC’s graduation 10 years ago, they ENCOURAGED parents to walk with any children born during law school. A core memory - glad this guy didn’t listen!!
