When Halloween goes from spooky to smoky. This month #ConnollyED#simulation is a pt falling from height into bonfire. Focus on primary survey, chest trauma and airway inhalation injury, and burns management. Great case to practice shared mental models and prioritisation.

Losing the cool under pressure! This month's #connollyed #sim: hypothermic cardiac arrest. Everything from modified arrest algorithm to rapid core rewarming options such as lavages. Closed loop communication and early decision making is key to success in a prolonged arrest.
