As an author, I’m a fan of breaking the rules of English every now and then. Usually, there’s only one way to say exactly what you mean…so end a “question” with a period, use em-dashes and semicolons, whatever you need. Good writing is any writing that works. #Writing.

For those aspiring “editors” out there looking to nitpick an indie author’s story, remember this:. Use spellcheck! If you’re going to be correcting someone’s grammar/spelling, you better correct your own first!. You have no idea how often I see this sort of thing in the wild. 🤪.
