Medical device manufacturer, @AutocamMedical, has announced plans to invest $70 million to build and equip a new manufacturing facility in Warsaw. The new 100,000 square-foot facility is expected to create 300 jobs in the “Orthopedic Capital of the World.”

At Allison, we explored how a commercial company approaches high-mix defense contracts and the ways they incentivize SME suppliers to engage. One standout insight: many international customers require defense materials be made in-country—posing a challenge to U.S. suppliers.
