Tried to keep my powder dry with regards #Wolves and their activity in the transfer window until the window was closed. Wolves are still criminally short of midfield options and any injury to André or João Gomes could be potentially very damaging - to allow two key midfielders.

Lack of strategy, extortionate fees and poor use of the market the key issues for me. This can be said across a lot of the “bigger” clubs - a failure to shift deadwood as squads grow in size is a key factor but an inability to control budgets in previous years has resulted in.

As I said earlier in the week, Fjørtoft really showing himself up as somebody who doesn’t have a clue - he may well be close to the agent, but this is pure speculation on his part.
