We're campaigning for funding for more walking and riding trails across eastern Melbourne. Ten trails have been identified as high-priority projects for our region. You can take a look a closer look at our campaign, and our policy document, here: https://t.co/Spz1qUMrCR

We agree. Truck duplication is also sorely needed on both the Lilydale Line and Belgrave to at least UFTG.

Privileged Dandenong corridor passenger here: how good is it not running for a train that’s arriving in AM peak bc you know there will be another train in a few minutes 😍 Imagine a world where that was the case at any time, on any line 🤤 #MoreTrainsPlease #MoreServicesPlease

Amazing. Provide a high frequency service and commuters will flock to it. Lessons for Melbourne... Sydney's metro trains running every five minutes

Melbourne has won the unenviable title of Australia's most congested city with motorists spending close to 100 hours stuck in heavy traffic each year. It will take motorists about 21 minutes to drive 10 kilometres, which costs Melbourne drivers $205 of petrol each year, equating

Arrived at the Bus stop at 11:59 It’s now 12:12 and neither of these Buses arrived Frequency on a timetable means nothing unless the Buses actually turn up We still need to #Fix800Bus

Ranked #2 in Australia for PT patronage Ranked LAST for Bus patronage For 65% of Melburnians, only PT option is Bus. Stats explain road congestion/dependency in outer suburbs We need: * Frequency * Reliability * Dedicated lanes * Light priority NOW! https://t.co/lHRJJv9BEo

133 yrs ago, before Australia was Federated & this was the Colony of Victoria, Doncaster Rail was first proposed. Hamer started construction in 1974 b4 spending millions filling in the hole @ManninghamCC remains the only Metropolitan LGA without a train line #MovePeopleNotCars

'Infrastructure Victoria’s research report into Melbourne’s bus network has found a fast, fair and better-connected bus network is needed for the city,' We couldn't agree more! You can find IV's report here: https://t.co/Np1V4m3MJO

The logical first stage of this project would be a connection between the existing Box Hill to Ringwood Trail and the new bicycle connections constructed as part of the new Union Station in Mont Albert.

The ETC supports the feasibility study recommendations and calls on state and federal governments to fund the technical planning and costings for Box Hill to Mont Albert Railway stations to accelerate the business case for construction.

A bicycle highway through Melbourne’s eastern suburbs via an underground “ghost platform” at Box Hill station would ease road congestion and public transport crowding, according to a newly released government study.

I cannot stand the argument from some that “COVID has changed how we work and travel so we don’t need big transport projects anymore”. People do not use public transport solely to get to work. This is an archaic view of the purpose of public transport. 1/7 https://t.co/HI9N0WGagN
