Our employment initiative's #JobJourney course character development & self-awareness topics are key to our participant's success in preparing for their 1st or next job. Understanding how thoughts & emotions influence circumstances is essential for living a more fulfilling life.

Our early life initiative, Sikunye is asking churches to support caregivers in playing brain building games with the children in their community. Follow @sikunye as they look at simple activities to improve young children’s ability to think, communicate, and connect with others.

During our employment initiatives' #JobJourney, participants imagine they start their journey with an empty backpack & by the end of the course, they have filled their bag with these job readiness essentials. For this young school leaver, better time management was the key!

This #CollaborationSchool principal said, "Learners attended the annual community 'Library Spelling Bee' competition. We won 1st prize as Gr6 Lihle, brought the trophy home!" A reflection on how well our schools continue to strengthen the culture within their walls & communities.

When this #JobJourney participant was asked what they learnt from our employment initiative's course, they answered 'Assertiveness'. We train participants to ask questions, express needs & make decisions confidently which can provide big benefits to their work prospects.

🔝📝 What happened as a result has convinced us more than ever that the ongoing coaching of willing teachers can significantly shift the quality of teaching and learning in any classroom.

Newly qualified Miss Benzi was tasked with teaching Life Sciences at Silikamva. In her favour were a diligent department head & weekly instructional coaching from a Common Good coach. And crucially, Miss Benzi’s receptiveness to this support & willingness to put it into practice.
