Friendly reminder that James Cook hasn’t had 15+ carries in a game or 115+ carries in a season ONCE since High School. Only had 21 receptions as a rookie. & Devin Singletary handled OVER 90% of the RB opportunities inside the 5 last year. He’s not a 3-down RB.

Looking over the current RB contracts and it jumped out to me that Bijan Robinson has a fully guaranteed $21M contract. For reference there are only 2 other backs in the league with higher guarantees (McCaffrey, Henry). This is the future of the RB market?

It’s possible to believe that Cook hurts Hall for the ‘23 season without believing that Hall is a committee back forever. I probably won’t be taking any Hall in redraft this year, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check on the Hall owner. They might be panicking.

No running back throughout all of Mike McCarthy’s time as a head coach has been featured enough to have a state line like this, and because of that none of them ever have produced these results. Eddie Lacy, Aaron Jones. Zeke… DONT BUY THE HYPE.

In the two seasons that McCarthy was the head coach with Aaron Jones on the roster Jones averaged just under 9 carries/game. If someone will give you workhorse level value for Tony Pollard get out now.

Historically, Mike McCarthy has been bad news for feature backs. He refuses to let even the best players on his team take the bulk of the work. If you know someone in your league who believes Tony Pollard will see workhorse level touches, let them overpay you for him.
